P. Andrew Willis

Composer

Andrew is a Boston based composer, producer and musician who’s been crafting original music and sound for film, television and advertising since the early 2000s.

From the americana tinged sound of The Mine Wars and the icy orchestral score for The Battle of Chosin (both for PBS’ American Experience) to the fractured holiday music of dark comedy, Uncle Nick and spy-jazz tunes for Errol Morris’ Tabloid (add’l music), Andrew has filtered his unique musical voice through many different genres and moods.

Fern Maddie

Musician

Fern Maddie is a balladeer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Central Vermont (N’dakinna). Her songs— performed with clawhammer banjo, guitar, and clear, soulful vocals— explore themes of trauma, grief, and renewal. Fern’s modern interpretations of traditional ballads have earned national and international acclaim: her debut album, Ghost Story, was named #2 of The Guardian’s Best Folk Albums of 2022 and was listed on NPR’s Best Roots Music of the year. We are thrilled to have Fern’s music, including an original song, featured in Claim the Lane: Becoming Roxy.
